How to Request Financial Statements

Requesting your mobile money and bank statements is now much easier. Just use the same wallet number you registered within the Fido app. Follow the steps below to request your statement from your network service provider or bank.

  • Download the App
  • Enter your User Number
  • Enter your PIN
  • Click on Transaction 
  • Click on Get Statement
  • Select the period 
  • Click on download
  • Confirm the download
  • Check on your statement

  • Dial *185#
  • Select option #10
  • Selection option 3
  • Enter email address
  • Enter the 'from Date' in the format provided.
  • Enter the 'to Date' in the same format provided.
  • Enter your PIN.
  • Check your email after a short period (15 minutes)

























1. Open the Airtel App:

Launch the Airtel Uganda app on your smartphone.


2. Go to Airtel Money Services:

From the home screen, tap on “Airtel Money Services.”


3. Tap on Transaction History:

Select “Transaction History” to view your past mobile money activities.


4. Choose Time Period:

The app will show transactions from the last 7 days by default.


At Fido, we recommend selecting a 3-month period for a fuller picture.


5. Download the Statement:

Scroll to the bottom and tap on “Download Statement.”


6. Save or View the File:

The statement will open as a document. You can save it to your device in a location that’s easy to find. Example: Downloads or Phone Storage.


  • Log in to your online banking/mobile app account using your username and password. If you haven't enrolled yet, you may need to sign up for it.
  • Look for a section or tab labeled "Statements" or "Account Statements." This is often found in the main menu or dashboard of your online banking interface.
  • Choose the specific bank account for which you need a statement. If you have multiple accounts, ensure you select the correct one.
  • Select the time period for the bank statement you want.
  • Depending on your bank's platform, you may have the option to either view the statement directly on the website or download it in a PDF or other format
  • If you downloaded the statement, you can save it to your computer or phone. Some banks also offer the option to receive statements via email.
