My credit was not approved, what can I do?

We understand that not getting approved can be disappointing, but don’t worry, this doesn’t mean you can’t get credit in the future. In most cases, your request was not approved because we don’t have enough information to make a decision.

What Can You Do?

  • Check your feedback in the Fido App: After submitting your request, you’ll receive a message in the app explaining why your application was not approved. This feedback will help you understand what steps you can take to improve your chances next time.
  • Improve your Fido Score: If your Fido Score is low, increasing it can boost your chances of approval. Find out more about improving your Fido Score.
  • Not all declines are due to a low Fido Score. If your score is already high, there may be other reasons for the decline. Be sure to review your feedback in the app for details specific to your application.
  • Explore Business Credit options: If you're a business owner and have the necessary documents, you may qualify for a Fido Business Credit product.

Keep going; your next application could be successful.  If you are still unsuccessful after several attempts, please contact Fido Customer Support.
