If you’re new to Fido and want to apply for Salary Advance, the process is quick, digital, and easy to complete on your phone. Just follow the steps below to get started:
1. Visit the Salary Advance landing page
Go to https://ug.fido.money/salary-advance-ug, enter your phone number, and click Next to begin your setup.
2. Download and register on the Fido App
- Download the Fido App from the Google Play Store or App Store.
- Open the app and register using the mobile number you entered on the landing page.
- Verify your identity by taking a photo of yourself and your National ID Card in the app (Find account verification guide here).
3. Calculate your Fido Score
Before you can access Salary Advance, you’ll need to complete a short survey to calculate your Fido Score.
- Open the Fido App.
- Tap “Start Now” to begin your Fido Score survey (Find how to calculate your Fido Score here).
- To qualify for Salary Advance, you must reach a minimum score of 251.
4. Upload your payslip (Within 3 months)
- As part of your employment verification, upload a recent payslip under Proof of Employment in the app.
5. View your Salary Advance offer
- Once all steps are completed and you meet the minimum score requirement, your available Salary Advance limit will appear instantly in your app, no paperwork.
